Marcy is the CEO of CUESA (Center for Urban Education about Sustainable Agriculture), responsible for managing overall operations and performance, implementing policies and deliverables set by the Board of Directors and leading CUESA to achieve annual goals and objectives.
Previously Marcy was the Executive Director of the Food Craft Institute, a professional development institution that conducts hands-on training programs and events for food entrepreneurs including the Eat Real Festival, and Communications Director for the Ecological Farming Association.
Marcy is an avid home cook and do-it-yourself fermenter and has been perfecting her kombucha recipe for several years. Marcy grew up in California’s San Joaquin Valley in a farming family and has a large urban garden in the backyard of her North Oakland home.
